Chief's Office

The Chief's Office is comprised of the Aide to the Chief and the Administrative Assistant to the Chief. These two roles function as an administrative support system for both the Chief of Police and the entire staff within the Waterbury Police Department.

Motorcycle Unit

The Motorcycle Unit is responsible for providing funeral and parade escorts, maintaining the motorcycle fleet and training other potential motorcycle officers. The Motorcycle Unit is also responsible for any additional duties required by the Chief's Office.

Administrative Assistant to the Chief

The Administrative Assistant to the Chief has several administrative duties within the Waterbury Police Department, including performing a variety of secretarial, clerical and public relations duties for the different divisions and specialized units of the department. The assistant provides administrative support to different areas within the department as well as develops and maintains extensive filing and record-keeping systems.
