City of Waterbury Parking Authority

The Parking Authority is a partnership between the City of Waterbury and the Waterbury Police Department. Its mission is to protect property, eliminate safety hazards, ensure fair access to parking, and keep traffic flowing efficiently throughout the city. Through consistent enforcement and community cooperation, the Parking Authority works to make parking in Waterbury safer and more accessible for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.

Parking Ticket Complaints

If you’ve received a parking ticket and wish to dispute it, you can submit a formal complaint to the Waterbury Police Department Parking Division. Complaints must be made in writing within 14 days of the ticket’s issuance. While your complaint is under review, no late fees will be added. All complaints are investigated, and you will be notified by mail of the outcome.
